Solution
These luxury apartments owned by Hyundai had an issue with condensation on the lower levels, and also needed an innovative way to increase energy efficiency of the building without giving up additional interior space.
Condensation made the walls and ceilings moist leading to unwanted growth of mold and mildew which was not healthy for the residents.
Our patented EnergyProtect™ translucent coating was applied in 2005 to internal walls and ceilings to offer the needed protection from condensation and mold in a cost effective application.
The coating also increased the thermal resistance of the building, thus lowering energy costs for the owner.
