Clear Apartment Insulation for Energy Savings
Problem
Looking for building envelope insulation that provides thermal resistance and surface protection.
Solution
This project involves an apartment building from an affluent area of Istanbul, Turkey. For this application the residents were mainly interested in the comfort and protection provided by EnergyProtect™ thermal insulation coating.
The coating was used on the exterior of the building to provide thermal insulation, UV resistance and resistance to mold growth. The coating is low VOC providing an ecologically friendly exterior protective coating that allows the look of the building exterior to remain unchanged.
The project was undertaken in 2009 by Syneffex ’s distributor in Turkey, Kolorgen Ltd.
