Temperature Reduction: This Flir thermal imaging video of a steam pipe that has a portion coated with Nansulate™ EPX-H2O shows you exactly what type of insulating performance you can expect with our coating. The uncoated section of the pipe is 138C (280.4F). The EPX-H2O coated surface drops to approximately 50C (122F) with just 6-coats (thickness of only 1.5 mm). Watch Video:
